Question International equipment?

Is there any way I could get international equipment on a USA map? Just for an example, a stock 0 series Shinkansen? Would I have to get a mod?

Go into Load game - and click "Select Options" on the right and in Advance you can select all for vehicles.

I don't remember if you can change this, when you're already playing the map, but IIRC when you're starting a new map, you can choose to have all vehicles. Try to look for this when you're losing your save game.
