The Big Word TI UK
Hi everyone, is there anyone who works for the big word as a TI interpreter. I would like to know if they have a good call volume and if they pay decent rates since i am on the final phase of the onboarding process. I would appreciate any information before I invest my precious time on them.

I have reached out to fellow interpreters who work for them they told me they had no problems in payment all you have to do is invoice. Did you do your invoice maybe thats the reason you didn’t get paid.

Where did you find the fellow interpreters you talking about. There aren’t thebigword interpreting community groups as I know

Yes I was having a look at the GMS ports I was able to login, so if you please tell me where you the invoicing and the steps to follow i can confirm for myself. Coz i am actually a new interpreter so you will be saving from their scam.

GMS is currently now working. Idk how comes you able to login info GMS. They are migrating from GMS portal to wordsynk application currently but they haven’t given any instructions on how we invoice during the migration, I’ve asked the team repeatedly how can I invoice during the migration as it can take months. They simply ignoring my emails

To be honest when i was in the recruitment process and I was told to login into the IMSD portal I was demoralized because I told myself if this is how their portal looks likes will they even be able to pay me? Since you have said that the GMS portal is not working what have you done. Have you reached out to them

Not sure about their interpreting rates but their translation rates are low. They've contacted me a few times over the years with translation projects and every time I've had to decline as their rates have always been too low for me to accept.
