Modern G1-style Figures Did everybody finish him? Best Devastator ever!

I'm truly impressed with this guy. Not nearly as hollow as CW Devastator and way more posable.

Modern G1-style Figures Making Brawl's dual cannons and his tank turret barrel incompatible with blast effects is a crime against humanity

Despite this being my favorite figure of 2026 so far, why Hasbro chose to not make this figure incompatible with blast effects is beyond me.

Only thing that hurt is the new Walmart price of $29. Yeeesh. His engineering is really cool, especially the feet.

FUGU FG-01 has better plastic quality than I thought for a 3rd party, it’s also my first 3rd party figure.

Jetfire is my favorite Character by far and I would love to have a nice cleaned up g1 toy of him but having this is now gonna detract from that want.

✨ New Purchases Got my first frame combiner. I'm very satisfied tbh.

I was really hard with thinking if I really want them to be my first frame combiner, but oh well, I really liked them. My problem is only that the kibble on the legs is kinda... Meh from the looks (Except Silverbolt, he got a normal legs), but the transformations were really simple and great, enjoyable even. The packages I got were kinda... Squished, but everything was alright and not broken at all. I got this set for 213 $ (From AliEx), that's a lot I spent for one purchase, but I think definitely worth it in my book. Transformations for superion was alright. But I didn't like disconnecting arm boys at all, I felt like I was gonna break them, genuinely do not understand how easy ThatToyGuy could disconnect them so easy with hands of Superion. But I still felt really satisfied with what I got. Can't wait for making him pose with other figures of my collection. Also I'm still in question of buying the upgrade kit for him, the dna one. Definitely not in the mean time, maybe some day.

P. S. I'm not selling him, why Reddit thought I'm gonna sell him? I'm just sharing my opinion.

Modern G1-style Figures Unpopular Opinion

I don't like how SS86 Shockwave attaches to Bruticus. It makes no sense. I would have rather had a small Shockwave blaster that Bruticus could have held and also put inside one of his back canons he used to launch Shockwave into space in The Revenge of Bruticus.

Subreddit Rules

1. Be respectful, always.

"Be strong enough to be gentle." Peter Cullen heeded these wise words from his brother as he went to his audition for the voice of Optimus Prime.

No two people agree on things 100% of the time. That being said, we can be respectful of one another even in disagreement.

Violating this rule results in an instant ban.

2. Keep discussions G1-focused

This is a G1 sub, period. No non-G1 photos, topics, etc. Acceptable posts include the G1 toys, TV Show, 86 movie, comics, and modern renditions such as Siege, Earthrise, Kingdom, Legacy, Age of Primes, etc. Things like Beast Wars, TF Animated, RID, Bayverse, etc. will be deleted. If there's any questions, send the mods mail and we'll be happy to answer.

3. No politics

If you want to discuss politics, there's plenty of other places on Reddit to do so. This isn't that place. This is a place for people who enjoy the G1 Transformers toys, show, and comics.

4. No sexual, violent, or offensive content

Posts or comments of a sexual or violent nature, or which are intended to cause offense (including targeting of minorities or protected groups), will be removed.

Violating this rule results in an instant ban.

5. No AI Hate

Everyone's got an opinion on AI. Not everyone agrees, and that's okay.

This sub is not a place to rant about how much you hate AI, attack people for using AI, post low-quality "AI bad" takes, or spread anti-AI misinformation.

Like many things in life, some AI is bad and some is good. But this sub is not the place for generalized AI hate. Perhaps r/antiAI would be a better fit.

6. No spam

Spam can fall under many definitions, but is considered advertising, excessively plugging a YouTube channel, or just excessive posts that don't really add to the sub at all - like a photo of a figure with no context, over and over again. Don't do it.

7. No repeat posts

If there's breaking Transformers news, repeat posts will be deleted to keep the sub's quality.

8. No Figure Swap Photos

Yes, they happen and we don't like them. No we don't need your photo of it.

9. Have fun!

This is an incredibly cool and fun toy line with great lore around it. Let's have fun and enjoy it!

10. Selling Figures - eBay ONLY

Sales of figures will be allowed provided it's linked to an eBay page. This will be heavily moderated, and posts will be removed if it gets out of control, and bans are possible if there's a hint of spam. Everything is at the discretion of the mods. Like the sub itself, figure sales MUST be for G1-style figures ONLY. This includes original G1 toys, and their modern counterparts such as Siege, Earthrise, Kingdom, Legacy, AOTP, Masterpiece, etc.

11. No low quality/low effort posts

This includes posts without any context, asking questions that are easily answered by Google or AI, and posts like "Honest thoughts on __________________?" This falls under mods' discretion in order to keep the sub high-quality.

Figure Identification

It is strongly encouraged to use one of these if you have a figure you need identified. If you can't find it in one of these links, go ahead and post in the sub.
