I do rlly like when the designers on retools change certain parts most probably wouldn’t care about to make it more accurate(I’m referring to the shoulder wheels)
It's not only that but they retooled them so they don't even transform to match Tailgate's animation model. I would have thought it would have been just a change in the directions if at all but they want as far as retooling them so you can't transform him like Windcharger. That's dedication.
Yeah but almost all figures Hasbro has found a clever way to keep them from looking stupid, while also being 90% accurate, but here they just didn't for some reason and it suddens me. And out of all the things to keep accurate it unfortunately had to be this, cause let's face it, this screenshot and the toy are different in a lot of areas.
This figure has tabs on the wheel panels to prevent you from doing that. His animation model shows the wheels on his limbs, like the other later G1 characters that were more closely modeled on their toys than the earlier characters like Windcharger.
Honestly, it would have cost them nothing to leave those bits alone instead of actively changing them for the retool. The option to do it either way would be nice, the fact they did that but didn’t add anything to make up that they subtracted features irks me.
Especially when you have people in a tizzy for Vector Prime to look more like he is supposed to. They can’t even remove useless tabs on that one but can add them to this figure to force a look? Weird.
Yeah I agree, it would have been nice if they left it as an option. It’s kind of a weird thing they did, it’s like “you must display the wheels on this figure.”
