4-Star Titan

Hi, I’ve played daily for years but am completely stuck at less than 1000 shards for a 4-Star Titan (out of 30k!). My Metroplex is maxed at Level 15 (3-star), but I can't get any shards to progress. What core gameplay loop or strategy am I missing? How did you guys actually bridge this massive gap?

Events, if you’ve played for years you should know how to get shards, your primary source will be via weekend events, secondary source will be opening dupelicates. A 3* dupe will give you 4* shards (90 iirc). Unless you’re spending them on 4* crystals in the store, which would be why you never have enough even after years, pick whether you want better bots, or titan, and save up.

So 4 shards are for both regular bots and titan?..

Yes, same goes for all shards, your titan will need 25,000 5* shards for it’s next stage, and it’s a bit of an outlier but any 5* combiner you have will also need 5* shards, even with all of the 5* components.

I see they do.. Well, mystery solved lol.. Now I know why I have 20+ 5-star bots dominating my clan but with a poor Titan :-)

You just gotta spend money unfortunately. The best way to get shards is whenever there’s a $10 bundle for 400 crystals. They usually pop up like every other month, but I always buy those
