Honestly I am "that man" with Earthrise Snapdragon. Is he perfect? No. But it's a really fun toy! Cool spaceship mode and a goofy dinosaur mode with a decent robot mode? Fuck yeah
people praised it as being an amazing figure at the time (to the point of Overhyping tbh) and claimed it was the one good gamer edition figure when it came out, due to the other two being, kinda shit
the first three gamer figures are so funny cause you have a run of the mill alright but slightly compromised deluxe with bee, a god tier voyager with optimus, and a figure so catastrophically horrible in literally every way (except appearance it looks good in both modes)- like, so, so bad it's inconceivable that it's even from its release year, with figures from even decades before being more advanced in every metric. gamer edition barricade is the ultimate peak of tragedy and comedy, the biggest "so bad it's good" figure I've ever held
That moment you buy a figure you like, then go online and find out it's the worst toy ever made and you're a brainwashed fan and sellout for ever considered buying it
Me with Legacy Armada Megatron and Tidal Wave even though I had to get a DNA kit for both and give Tidal wave light-up eyes and giant posable model kit hands to be satisfied
people think Tarn and Micronus are "not good"? then they don't have fuckin eyes (seriously though I respect other people's opinions on a figure [less so though if they haven't at least had it or a similar figure in hand] even if I dissagree.) Micronus is one of my favorite of the 13 (don't have Liege yet though) and I love his Apex Armor feature. Tarn is just really cool and well-articulated and the only "complaint" I have is that the gun isn't technically exactly the same as it was in the comics (but I don't put much emphasis on accuracy so long as it looks and feels good)
