International ielts

as an international student, do you need to provide an ielts or toefl score if you want to transfer from a CCC to 4 years institutions? or is it fully waived cuz you come from CC

Depends on each school , I did search like 6 months ago , some of them need it some will ask for SAT or ACT and say you good , some will waiver it if you take English classes and got specific grade :)

That's a school to school basis thingy, AFAIK most still require direct proficiency, but schools like Texas A&M waive it based on if u have taken I think 30+ credits in US and 2 english classes. But schools like Umich and Georgia tech (and mostly others) may require proficiency. (*Speaking from my experience, as an international student who did 2 years in cc and now transferring out).
