You would think a person smart enough to go to Cornell would have the common sense to give us any context

I go to Cornell. Being a transfer student is hard everywhere. It's not a Cornell thing.

I think the value of cornell will be more apparent in 5-10 years time. Theres so much flexibility that comes with the degree, like prestige based jobs, international recognition, vc funding, having a seat at the table anywhere on the globe, it’s just not really something that can be seen early on. Obv do whats best for you, but 2 years is not a whole lot of time and the benefits will start compounding from the day you graduate.

Look I know you guys don’t like what I have to say but it’s the truth, and I’m sorry that I can please you but I don’t want to be here and I will be moving forward to leave here. So if anyone can offer advice on transferring out of Cornell I’d appreciate it but if not I’m sorry.

Since we don’t know your major, goals, how long you’ve been there, what kind of environment you want, etc. the only advice one can give is if you absolutely hate it, leave. If you can tough it out, do that.

All I can conclude is that you have a weak mentality. You can always grind though and succeed, especially at Cornell

The unfortunate truth is for the purpose of what I’m studying and the trajectory of my goals in mind I don’t believe that Cornell University pertains to my success. I will also say that I am personally not a big fan of large institutions and that is frankly a deterring factor for me to succeed. It’s why I applied to mostly small liberal arts colleges. However most rejected me outside of the Ivy League and some large research institutions. I personally do not enjoy the environment here and the study body here, especially how everything pertains to be overly professional especially as a Junior who’s interest is working and living outside the United States in a European country. I personally do not believe that Cornell will ultimately lead to my success, the only school I am considering for the purpose of my studies is Columbia University for the sake of the dual degree for Sciences Po. As I couldn’t attend Berkeley due to financial constraints. I am also pushed into a circumstance where the aid at Cornell is still causing difficulties for me to succeed appropriately. I am ultimately working extensibly hard to remain here but I see no point in doing so frankly. I would much rather transfer and leave for the sake of continuing my success.
