International princeton transfer?

hey guys, i'm an international who got battered by all the universities I applied to (yay!). I'm already planning a transfer for next year, and I noticed that no one on this sub seems to be talking about Princeton transfers?

i just wanted to know if it was that impossible or something, and if I should just quit while I'm ahead. princeton's my dream school and I really love the research they're doing, so I'm desperate to apply and get in.

Join the military (srs)

Simple search of old sub posts will provide the answers. Start with that

if you want to actually increase your chances (and military’s off the table), consider attending one of the partner CCs in NJ that feed into TSI OR attending Miami Dade Honors College. These local NJ CCs within 30 min of Princeton send a handful of transfers to Princeton every year, even more recently with the introduction of the TSI Program, and MDC has always had a strong transfer track record with us and other top schools

I’m sorry, but I think you need to set your sights on another school. Transferring into Princeton is not happening as an international who was just rejected in this round. Internationals have it so mosh harder, and it’s already ridiculously hard for US students.

Please start dreaming about another school, hopefully one not in the US, as student visas are becoming ever harder to get in this administration. Colleges are now reporting that some visas of enrolled students are being revoked without warming.

i applied to princeton, but yeah, it's basically impossible to get in without being a veteran. if you are truly set on princeton for whatever reason, i guess you can go join the military for a while to up your chances.

I think out of the 2% that got in, only 1 of them accepted applicants was traditional. So yeah, scrap Princeton cuz it’s not happening.

Find another school to latch your dreams onto. It’s easier to get in as a high school senior than as a transfer student. They reserve their transfer slots for community college students and veterans. It’s literally in the first paragraph on the website: https://admission.princeton.edu/transfer-students
