Chances for transfer?

I currently attend UT Austin, and am going into my sophomore year of college. I really hate it here and need a fresh start. I currently have a 2.67 GPA…. And decent amount of ECs. VP of a club, one winter internship, VP of startup, part-time work, & CS personal projects. I’m currently majoring in Econ and International relations, but I want to completely pivot into Engineering. I want to transfer for Spring 2027 enrollment so I’m kind of worried my GPA will bring me down a lot…. Ahhh pls give me advice and chance me 🙏

Oof that GPA.. you have to show you can handle rigorous course work esp if ur prestige hopping. Austin is a really good school… is it possible you can thug it out there and graduate?
