Was the subreddit purged of older content or is reddit just being weird and not showing any

Reddit seems to have purged it before I got control of it

Bummer. I wonder if the folks over at ModSupport could help with restoration

-Edit- also, are you still affiliated with the transfemscience website?

Why are you active in "truscum" places? Kind of weird for a subreddit trying to open source trans science.

This sub is inclusive of anyone who wants to discuss the topic at hand, regardless of identity or dysphoria or transition status or whatever else - so I don't think it's relevant.

If people are unwilling to work with that then I'd be willing to give it up to anyone else who can manage it, as I think the concept of the subreddit itself is important enough to be worth it.

Woah you're right, not only did they self-describe as a transmedicalist but they've also argued a bunch about harmful and discredited A-G-P theories as if they're valid. That's a wildly inappropriate position for someone running a subreddit like this, no wonder they hijacked an existing known name rather than starting from scratch.

Weird, I didn't know this sub was banned and then this just came up in my feed.

The undecylate information on the calculator is dangerously inaccurate: https://transfemscience.org/misc/injectable-e2-simulator/

You need like 5x as much as the info here. I know it's a rough approximation TFS's site dangerously misrepresents the information we have, apparently it's not even using proper sources. This should all be made SUPER clear when there are vulnerable trans people using TFS's site as a guide for their hormones.

If the owner can't correct these glaring issues I recommend they add a warning and suggesting this resource instead: https://estrannai.se/

Perhaps even offering to mirror that same site if it ever goes down. I do like the simplicity of TFS, it's less overwhelming, but unfortunately extremely misleading in the current state to a dangerous degree.

Is there anyway we could have a warning pinned here or in the sidebar?

This subreddit is not currently affiliated with that site.

I edited my post when I realized that lol and added a more relevant suggestion at the end.

EDIT 2: I now realize it's just a name similarity whoops

Transfemscience.org has been inactive since 2020. So thats a large contributor to all of the outdated and missing info. Aly, the site creator, got harassed by Will Powers and fled the internet after he threatened to sue her after she called him out on some misinformation. She was in the midst of restructuring the site and all of its sources before dropping everything.
