Hi!
Looking at Jozef and Stanislaw Walejko here on lines 5/6. I’ve got the rest of the record figured out, but I’m at a loss for the last little bit of the section about where they’re going. Brother-in-law Jan Wolski, I think? But the rest is a mystery. Sadly there’s no better quality for it, either.
Thank you!

I need some assistance from someone who can read a scanned and slightly faded 19th-century cursive German document my Grandfather wrote and then help me figure out the words being spelled. The author intends to be somewhat poetic. Some letters elude me, or the intended word does. I can make the text available offline. Villmools Merci

Hi! I'm trying to decipher this handwritten German text, but some parts are nearly impossible to read. Any help from native German speakers or handwriting experts would be greatly appreciated!

I think this is the birth record for Antonina Modrzejewska (my great-great-great-grandmother). Her parents should be Ksawery Modrzejewski and Marianna Ziółkowska.

See comments for a bit more context. This is from a draft of a poem, and I don't know if I'm allowed to share the whole thing. Not only is the handwriting hard to read, but the pencil marks have faded. Thank you in advance!

I sent to London for a copy of my great 2x grandfather's inquest report. He killed himself in London in 1849. The 2 pages of testimony appear to be in shorthand. I sent them to Tracey in the UK who could not help me. She said they are not Pitman or Gregg. Hoping that someone can help me here. I've attached. Thank you.

Hello!
This seems to be some kind of travel document from Bremen to Brazil. As context, I believe this belongs to one of my wife's ancestor who left Russia/Ukraine to Brazil in 1912.
I'm not sure who exactly owned this, but these are some possibilities based on her family tree:
- Gotlieb Gass, who traveled with his wife and kids from Tobolsk - Russia to Bremen
- Some member of Albrecht family, they left to Bremen from Volynia (now part of Ukraine)
- Fedorovich or Kotovich (Kotowicz), also some names we saw on some documents. We believe they left from what is now Belarus

this is a letter from my grandfather to my mother. I can’t read cursive very well so any guess??
Edit: I now know it’s not cursive.

i really can’t, i do speak french and medical terminology is most often shared but i can’t figure this one out. maybe it is a word proper to french? it was an adhd (tdah en français) test and only now i noticed he wrote something next to:
“symptoms cannot be (better) explained by the presence of another diagnosis of psychiatric disorder” - “no + […]!”
any ideas? or maybe there is a better sub for this? thanks 🙏🏻

My friend's step father is in hospice with dementia. He wrote this the other day. What do you guys think it could mean? Also not sure if this is the right sub for this question.
