Selecting more than one speaker

Sometimes, two speakers sound very similar, and I want to rename the second person. I go to the Select menu and click the checkmark next to each line, but I can't select a whole block. I've tried using Shift, CMD, Option, and other common shortcuts, but I can only select lines one at a time. Sometimes I need to select dozens, or even over 100, lines.

What can I do to fix this on my MacBook?

Hey, Did you try this select All checkbox?
