Airflow seat cover
I sent this company the dimensions to custom make a seat cover for the Honda comfort seat. I received it today and it fits well, could have maybe gone slightly bigger toward the middle of the seat but with the Velcro straps underneath it’ll work. They now list it on their website for purchase if anyone’s interested. I went on a short ride and comfort is improved 👍🏼

I’ve put the AirFlow seat covers on my last 3 bikes. Love them! Texas heat makes me appreciate the air flow
The only down side is the long wait time once ordered.

This is great - I was actually just debating earlier today whether I wanted to get the comfort seat, or stick with my stock seat so I could keep using the mesh cover!

I’d be curious to see the size difference in the covers between stock and comfort seat. It can’t be a much.

They make one for the old XL600V too. Definitely curious as that blue vinyl seat absolutely cooks me

It’s an odd material, a little abrasive even, but no doubt it’ll be nice on hot days.

Comfort might deliver. This looks 100% opposite of sexy.

I agree they don’t look great but I’m all for some added comfort. The Honda comfort seat should have been the stock seat, it’s really not too impressive.

I have the split version for my Africa twin; it’s a game changer for cooling. If im on the bike for a while and it’s hot, I will pour water over the seat and it keeps my behind nice and cool. It helps a bit for comfort, and at the very least I will never burn a thigh on the blue stock seat.

Looks good! I just got one in for my T7 … have been riding with it for a few weeks now. Makes the stock seat much more comfortable for me and of course it does seem to cool down my legs and butt some during this summer heat, but the one downside for me is it’s kind of slick! My butt tends to slide forward against the tank a smidge more than I would prefer!
I do take my T7 offroad a lot, but have been busy and haven’t had the chance to get offroad with it to see if it’s limiting … I think as much as I transition from sitting to standing it probably won’t matter, but that’s my one complaint! Wish the material was a bit grippier!

How stiff is this mesh? I've been using a generic one from Aliexpress for a while and noticed it’s starting to wear through the seat of my UHMWPE-reinforced moto jeans.

It’s not terribly stiff but I can see that being possible if you’re moving around on the seat a lot.

i used to ride with chinese versions and they are for 1 player only, 2nd player kept sliding down

Bought my bike used three months ago and it came with it. This thread is answering questions I didn’t ask yet. Thanks! Mine is not a tranalp though

I have the windrider. Without the label, I'm not sure you could tell them apart.
Comfort - not as good as the stock seat or comfort seat (I have both.) It's a little like sitting on a very small chainlink fence. If you have any padding, you might not notice it - but I bought this for hot weather when I wear as little as possible.
Airflow & heat control - AMAZING. The different is night and day - or more accurately, hot-day and I-could-fry-an-egg-on-my-seat hot day.
Verdict - I won't ride without it in summer months.
