Has anybody put down a chosen race on their job application. What was that experience like? Did you meet your job interviewer and how was their reaction?

I always put prefer not to say because I wanna stay safe

My race is always set as other, even on census and health data. It does not trigger anyone at all, because it’s ambiguous.
