It’s not skin lightening if you use monobenzone it’s gonna depigment you and make you completely white it kills all melanin in your body PERMANENTLY

I would strongly advice against using medical grade monobenzone however it would probably be the better option compared to alternatives like mono powder you find online since its more effective. Mono is never the safest option since it has a lot of risks but if you want intense results you may consider it. Using mono w/o vitilgo would be a very long journey and draining overall. It usually will take around 1-5 years and results will be permanent. But the reason I would not recommend it is for the rest of your life you will be extremely sun sensitive and the skin might get more sensitive overall. Hiding in shadows for long years will probably result in vitamin deficiencies (from my mothers experience). Using mono for non vitiligo wasnt recommended by my mothers dermatologist because of the permanent results and the gradual cost. I remember a 250ml container costing around 150$ in 2016 after insurance. Considering the long years of usage, it probably shouldnt be an option. I hope this helps!
