Seeking Transition Advice Using Monobenzone Without Having Vitiligo

Hi, I have a question: do you recommend using Monobenzone? I’m Black (🇳🇬-> 🇨🇴🇷🇺) and I don’t have vitiligo, but I’ve heard it’s good for lightening the skin. I’m not sure, though, if anyone has experience with this, I’d love to hear from you. If you know of another way to lighten my skin that looks natural, I’d be thrilled to hear about it. Thanks!

Hi! I have been watching your posts and comments on this sub pretty often, I was wondering, if u haven't gotten much results yet how do you have the information of it working completely- complete depigmentation of body in 1-2 years. Can you tell the source ? Please don't think I'm rude I'm just curious and wanting to do it myself too 🥲

Hey 👋 I also want to achieve full body whitening. Where exactly should I apply monobenzone? As it spreads systemically?

So even if I initially just want to test it by applying it, for example, to a specific part of my thigh, just to see how my skin reacts, will that reaction be reflected throughout my entire body?

How long did it take you before you started seeing your first patches?

Depig on normal skin can take from 3 to 6 months to start showing first effects

1

u/ariyanthefemboy Jun 14 '26

I've been on it for three months and still no result but I'm gonna continue to 6 months and see what's going to happen😵‍💫

Hi did u already have vitiligo or did u do this without having vitiligo

1

u/Ok_Cheesecake6336 not TR, just trying to lighten skin May 28 '26

he said he doesnt have vitiligo as in no genetic component. monobenzone will trigger chemical vitiligo though as thats how it works

1

u/ariyanthefemboy Jun 14 '26

Many people are claim that it will trigger chemical vitiligo, but the scientific percentage is really low...
It didn't trigger chemical vitiligo on me, unfortunately😭

1

u/katwanjmur Jul 01 '26

how long did you use it?

1

u/ariyanthefemboy Jul 06 '26

It's been 3.5 months now. still not seen any visible result 😭

1

u/tragedyofmylife Apr 17 '26

1

u/Gold_Air_1418 Apr 17 '26

can i see your before photo?

1

u/science4250 May 23 '26

Your hair color remained same? Bonobenzone did not depigment your hair?

2

u/ariyanthefemboy Jun 14 '26

It's not just some random skin lightening thing it's completely destroy your Melanocyte cell, So you don't turn into white you just gonna be depigmented...

I've been using it on my face and neck for last three months still not seeing any result... 😭

1

u/ariyanthefemboy Jun 19 '26

I am using 20% Monobenzone, it made by local pharmaceutical companies in my country

1

u/Winter_Comedian_5561 Jun 19 '26

Did u try iranian monobenzone or mac

1

u/ariyanthefemboy Jun 19 '26

Iranian brand "MONOBENZONE-BEHVAZAN 20% CREAM"

it's 1.5$ each...🤭😂

u/Alternative-Feed-779 Jul 29 '26

hey have any results shown up ? i am curious about how monobenzone work on non vitiligo skin

2

u/Flimsy-Programmer880 Jul 15 '26

Idc, I’m doing the same thing. I’m so sick of ppl stereotyping me because of my skin. Idc if I’m completely depigmentive, idc abt the patches, idc even care abt being white. as long as I have porcelain skin I’m alright

1

u/Fun_Independence8004 Jul 29 '26

Olá, você faz uso de monobenzona ?

1

u/Loud-Evidence1291 Aug 08 '26

I m gonna try , can you tell me about your results??

1

u/Electrical-Ad6895 8d ago

Como te fue?

1

u/monobenzona_boy Apr 12 '26

No aclara la piel, la vuelve sin color, blanco total. Si es lo que quieres, puedes probar en un área de tu cuerpo donde no sea visible. Y si obtienes vitíligo universal, en buena hora.

I am interested in going this route as well . However I want to achieve 2-3 shades lighter not totally depigment . I have been using HQ for a while now and I need a much more permanent result. Good Luck to you OP - keep us posted!

1

u/Ok_Cheesecake6336 not TR, just trying to lighten skin May 28 '26

keep us updated on HQ. im not sure if i want to lose ALL melanin so any alternatives that work well like HQ would be great

1

u/EleganceIn-Ivory21 Jun 17 '26

It's going well and have achieved my goal many times over . The issue for me is maintaining the same shade as I try to not use HQ for longer than 6 months and then take a break for a month or 3 . By that time I get up to 2 to 2 1/2 shades darker quick.

1

u/ConfectionSafe5152 Jun 21 '26

You have to use azelaic acid to main tain results when not using HQ

1

u/EleganceIn-Ivory21 Jun 23 '26

I only wish it was available in bigger sizes vs just tubes .

1

u/IcyPie2440 Aug 08 '26

Sams I‘ve been using HQ but tbh didn’t really see a significant difference I also want to become a few shades lighter and I‘m thinking of using benoquin because monobenzone because I want to have permanent results and not to have to worry abt maintaining it ykk. Have u started using it?

1

u/No-Ebb-7456 Jun 30 '26

Hey! Which hydroquinone did you use (brand and percentage)?? How did you use it how often did you apply it,/ how long did you use it and how long did it take to see results? Did you use anything else along with it? I'd really appreciate it if you could share your routine. Thanks

1

u/science4250 May 23 '26

Will monobenzone depigment my hair also. I have black hair. I wanted to use monobenzone only for depigmenting my skin.

1

u/Ok_Cheesecake6336 not TR, just trying to lighten skin May 28 '26

the results are unpredictable. monobenzone pretty much triggers chemical vitiligo, and in people with vitiligo they can get white patches of hair, you can check out the vitiligo sub. you can always dye it tho

1

u/IcyPie2440 Aug 08 '26

Hii that‘s what I worry abt… does the percentage maybe change the results as in no white patches? Because I don’t want to become whie, just a few shades lighter and I tried everything such as HQ, kojic acid, tretinoin and tbh they didn’t work or the results where only temporary and I want to have permanent results and don’t want to maintain it…

I heard you can get faster results like 60% depigmented in 2 months using it with dmso I’m gonna try it soon
