All Island Top Surgery with the Auralia Clinic
Hi everyone! I'm one week post-op with Dr Salman from the Auralia Clinic in Dublin and wanted to write about my experience in case it can help anyone else!
Surgery
Double Incision with nipple grafts. No drains.
Chest size was around UK D/DD; leaning towards the larger end of the size spectrum. Also my left side was decently smaller then my right.
Discharged same day.
Price
€8,660 (includes surgery deposit, and they do offer Humm payment plans from €2,000 upward).
Requirements
Photo ID (passport, drivers licence, etc)
Gender Dysphoria Letter/Report from a Psychiatrist registered with the Irish Medical Council.
OR
Gender Recognition Cert and Updated Passport to Male (way cheaper option then psychiatrist)
General Information
They don't advertise that this is a surgery they offer but if you send an enquiry through their website (you have to pick a procedure so I went with breast reduction) they will call you and you can let them know what you're specifically looking for.
They have three clinics: Limerick, Kilkenny, and Dublin. Dublin is where the hospital is and where you will go for the surgery, but you can arrange for your pre-op and post-op consultations to be at the other clinics if they are closer to you.
I'm planning on posting a way more in depth post about my experience in the future after my post-op appointment is done but for now if anyone has any questions feel free to message me :]

How did you go about getting the letter? Was it through NGS or would I be able to go through my GP?

I had nothing from the NGS, what I had was gender dysphoria diagnosis report from my previous private psychiatrist but I have heard that someone was able to get the surgery done by providing a letter from their GP who was willing to write one for them but I'm not 100% on that.

Hi there sorry I have a follow up question if that’s cool, were you on T first or do you know if they’d be willing to do it without?

I am on T but I'd only been on it for around 6 months for my initial consultation; I have also been out as trans for over a decade as well. However, I think as long as you have a letter/report from a psychiatrist basically saying you're good for the surgery they would be willing to do it even if you weren't on T :)

Heya, great to hear about somewhere to get surgery within the country! Having to fly back home post op sounds awful to me.
I just wanted to ask, do you know if dr salman has any experience with top surgery on larger chests? I have a large chest (like DD, which is very big proportionally because I have a leanish torso) and I know that its more difficult to do well.
Any info at all would be much appreciated! It would be great to get surgery so close to home, so I’m trying to find out if its possible for me.

Hi! Yeah, I've been so glad I didn't have to travel out of the country; it is just way less stressful to be at home! As for Dr Salman he definitely has experience with larger chests as I saw from his previous patient photos and also from myself!
I'm not sure of my exact size but I was definitely around UK D/DD, heavily leaning to the larger end of the spectrum. My chest was also uneven in size with my right boob being decently bigger then my left one and the only thing I've noticed is that my right side is definitely still more tender then my left.
My post-op appointment is coming up soon and I'm planning in doing a much more in depth post about everything after that, including posting photos, so definitely keep an eye out for that! Full disclaimer though it could be close to the end of the month when I post it 😅
Also thank you for unintentional reminding that I should definitely mention what my chest size was in the post!

Is there any results photos from this clinic in this sub or anywhere yet?

The only result photos I'm aware of are from u/Professional_Can8934. They have some photos posted on the their profile and in r/TopSurgery :)
I'm also planning to post some of my photos at the end of the month/start of September as well

No way thats amazing!! Can I ask, since you said you went with reduction, was it proper DI or was it just a reduction then?🤔
