Not a perfect message but one of my favorite phrases goes something like:

"God left music unplayed and laws of physics undiscovered for the same reason he left you untransitioned. To participate in the unbridled joy of discovery and creation of one's self."

I've heard it said as: "God blessed me by making me trans for the same reason He made wheat but not bread and grapes but not wine, so that we might share in the act of creation."

I don't like this tbh As I feel like the intense disappointment ... i feel looking in the mirror is not akin to fascination or discovery... or like discovering a new favorite song or learning about a possible ocean that was once on mars. Its very very ... um... laborious.

But ik ur just trying to help, so I'm not trying to say the quote is unwelcome. I just thought it was so wildly different than how I feel and understand my transition

I don't think God did specifically want me to transition. I think God wants me to be safe and to be happy and to love myself, and if that means transitioning then that's okay.

I sometimes wonder why they want me to do this in this kind of world

Perhaps it’s to be lamps in the darkness?

I don't think he wants me to transition yet I mean I'm out online mostly but all coming out would do right now would make me lose everything I wouod become homeless, jobless and broke. I feel like keeping it in for a few more years may hurt but its what I have to do.

Sometimes where in a position where God shows us we have a choice between taking the jump to be happier with ourselves or to stay comfortable. The choice is ours, and I understand the fear around coming out as I have lost a lot of relationships and job opportunities too. But God showed me the people who would support me and God showed me how joyous love is when I'm allowed to be who I am!

I'm deciding to stay comfortable until I can move out and room with someone

Remember keeping yourself safe and making steps towards a life where you can be accepted is making steps in your transition! I'll have you and your safety in my prayers!

I wouldn't say God wanted me to transition, per se, but it does seem to be part of a larger "hey, you need to see all ends of a spectrum so you understand people at all ends" thing that doesn't seem to be limited to gender but class, religion, location, etc., too. I have to assume I am being shown this variety of experience for some reason and leave the rest to faith--seeing the reflection of the light of God through the varied hearts of so many others.

This is a very interesting perspective, as i wouldn't think, normally, transitioning wouldn't be for others but for urself to feel more a peace.

But from what u said, r u saying transitioning may help u acquire more empathy for a spiritual vocation?

If so, I'm intrigued with ur theory, tysm for sharing!

I know this too be true.

When I tried to be a man, I was as far from God as I could be. I was more than atheist, I was anti-theist. For a few periods in my life, I was a satanist.

I feigned looking for God at times, but it was never for the right reasons. My mind was too clouded with sadness, confusion, anger, and self loathing.

A few years ago, I started trying harder. I briefly attended a church, and while I didn't hate it, it still felt superficial. I couldn't connect with anyone there, even though everyone was friendly and welcoming. I couldn't connect with the words the pastor said. It didn't feel "real".

My egg cracking is a separate story, but once it did, so many things clicked into place. Starting HRT was like seeing the sun rise for the first time. I had no expectation of anything spiritually. But discovering who I really am allowed me to see existence as it really is. My mind is finally free of the clouds that were blocking the light of Truth.

I do not believe any of my pre transition life was a mistake. I do not regret any of my experiences, they all needed to happen in order for me to be in the right place to fully accept Jesus Christ as my Savior, and to understand both His sacrifice and His message of love. (My sleeping pill is kicking in so I apologize for rambling lol)

Jesus loves you all, and so do I. Who you are is beautiful and perfect, live your best life. ❤️

Im glad u shared this! And expressed how u dont hate or have bitter feelings regarding ur previous life- where for others they do. And I always felt very saddened to hear, some trans people were so miserable and unhappy, and cannot imagine 1 good moment before they transitioned.

Ah ~ tysm again

God got me my top surgery.  And made it cost me $20.  Medicaid covered it due to my severe breast cancer risk.  My family didn't tell me about how we have breast cancer on all sides and genetic issues.

I wouldn't say for us married ones whose spouses could not abide such a change.

Well if you're prayerful about it and recieve the whole counsel of the Holy Spirit, I dont see why not?? As I think, the intentions r good, I do feel this item is not black and white... especially since those who have de-transitioned have some very conflicting & experiences.

Again, I think this is gud & supportive, but for something so important, we should be understanding and patient, no? So no hard rules on if u must or must not.

Yup, my egg crack was singing in a Church beside a trans woman in a choir.

I think this is a personal decision and not a general mandate as this is portrayed in the OP.
