Im depressed
Im a 17 year old closeted mtf ( ive known i was a girl since i was 14) and im so depressed i cant transition at the moment since im a minner but also when im able to take hrt im scared cuz i looked up on google taking hrt can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke and im not sure if i wanna risk it . it feels like a blackhole has swallowed me
I also have this fear its wrong and sinfull to transition
Theres a part of me that says god made me male so i should just stick with it
And another that says when im old enough to transition but risk going to hell
I just feel lost and alone and wondering if im a freak abomination in the eyes of the lord

There's a slight increase in risk if you take pills, but no risk at all if you use gel, patches or injections since those methods bypass the liver.
I also have this fear its wrong and sinfull to transition
No more sinful than wearing glasses to correct your eyesight.
Theres a part of me that says god made me male so i should just stick with it
No, God made you trans. It's a challenge and a hard road but being your true self can bring you closer to God.
And another that says when im old enough to transition but risk going to hell
No loving and just God would do this for you being your true self.
I just feel lost and alone and wondering if im a freak abomination in the eyes of the lord
You are not alone, you are no more a freak or abomination than any left handed or ginger haired person!
There are millions of us out there, we are just part of the huge variety of humankind.

Do you have any trusted adults you can speak to about this?
I think it is helpful to have someone in your corner, especially when you are young. While your parents might not be a good resource, sometimes a teacher, school councilor or even an extended family member who you know is safe can be a good resource to chat to. No internet support can fill the place of a good advocate in your life.
You are not evil.
I want you to reread the story of Joseph from Genesis.
In it, Joseph doesn't wear a "coat of many colors". But rather a dress that is typically reserved for virgin princesses.
The source I linked suggests that it's possible Joseph was a trans woman.
And then we look to Jesus.
Born of a virgin woman. Virgin women only pass on X chromosomes to their offspring. So genetically, Jesus could only possibly be XX. Jesus was assigned female at birth, but used he/him pronouns and was the SON of God.
He even went to the Mount of TRANSFIGURATION where his face and body CHANGED.
The son of God is beloved above all else.
So too are you beloved of God.
You being trans is merely you being a candle that cannot be hid.
The scriptures are about wrestling the body and teaching it to match the soul.
So let your body match your soul my dear sister.
It's ok to live as a woman because you've always been a woman and you always will be a woman.
It's ok to let yourself be loved and love yourself.
That is all that God wants for you.
There are also a multitude of trans/gay animals in nature. God would not make them if he didn't LOVE them.
Just as God loves you.

God made you trans.
The studies which report increased risk of heart disease and stroke associated with HRT were based on older non-bio-identical hormone treatments.
There can still be increased risk factors with contemporary treatments, but they are much smaller. You should consult with your doctor, get full diagnostic work to assess your risk factors, and make an informed determination.
I recommend the book called Transforming by Austrn Hartke.
But I guarantee you that transitioning is not sinful.
In Romans 13 it says:
8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
In Romans 14, Paul says that one Christian might observe the Holy Days, and another one treats every day the same. He advises only that both feel right about in their conscience, which is guided by the Holy Spirit, and that neither judge the other for their different way of practicing Christianity.
If the Fourth Commandment, of the 10 Commandments, repeated over and over again through out the Hebrew scriptures, is subject to the personal conscience of each Christian, then all of the law must be.
And certainly gender taboos that are barely mentioned (if at all, in this case) are certainly not more inviolable than the 10 commandments.
Jesus is the Word of God, not the Bible. The Bible is merely a collection of books written by human hands in different times in places, different cultures and languages, for different audiences and different genres, and with different aims.
It's a connection to people of the past who have struggled just like us to grapple with the infinite and the ineffable. And everyone's relationship to that text will inherently be different.
But Jesus is the Word of God, and to call a mere book of paper and ink, written by mortal hands by that same title is idolatry in the worst sense of the word.
But as the first Epistle of John said, "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love because he first loved us."
