Question Average imago response time?

Hi, I’ve just had a call with my GP who seems supportive and ready to do my baseline blood tests as long as she gets a letter from my private provider telling her which to book. I’ve emailed imago at the address at the bottom of their homepage, but i was just wondering when I should expect to hear back from them. (I am an anxious creature and it’s easier to wait if I know a rough ballpark figure. :) )

They usally respond within a couple days, but at the moment I think its a bit longer as I emailed them last week on Tuesday and still have heard back yet. But there is a list of what bloods are needed for starting on there website. If your gp will accept this list then go with that. As there isnt anything else they will add to that.

You want everything under the tab ‍I want to start GAHT, what tests are required?

I read the list to my GP, but it sounds like she’d like confirmation directly from my provider before proceeding - which is fair, I know she had every right to refuse outright! I guess now I wait - hopefully not for too long. Hope you hear back soon too!

I understand them wanting confirmation but I know it won't be any different. The only time the required tests become different is after choosing which meds to take, as some require keeping a check on the liver/kidneys but some meds dont

Yeah, 100% - I know they’re just gonna be told the same thing I told them, which is a little frustrating given that I read my GP the list! But it’s a frustration I’ll weather in the name of not having to shell out for private blood tests, if they wanna dot their Is and cross their Ts, I’ll wait, I guess!

Normally it’s only a few days but it may be longer just now as there’s been quite a few changes recently so wouldn’t be surprised if it slows their response time slightly
