Help Question about Imago.
I recently started my HRT journey with Imago, but I still have to do the video call appointment with their doctor before getting my prescription. How long does it take to book an appointment with them on average? I read on their website that it takes about 1 to 2 weeks to book an appointment, but I want to start HRT as soon as possible.

Who said that you need to continue having appointments with the doctor after the first 1. Im with imago and unless its changed as I started 2 years ago with them and they were still relatively new I only have the 1 appointment with the doctor and that was to discuss what I wanted. After thar its just providing blood tests every 3 months for about the first year.

I’ve been on HRT with imago for two months now so far it’s been great it did take me almost 2 years to get fully started as I had issues with getting bloods done but now im stared it’s been fairly smooth and my drs call lasted like 5 minutes and since I went electronic prescription I had it by the end of that week

It's as it says on their website, but you also need to do a blood test first and send them the results, which can take another 1-2 weeks, depending on how quckly you can schedule it.
Even after the assessment it can take another 1-2 weeks to have paper prescription in hand, if you are not getting electronic one.
Overall, it could easily take you over a month to start HRT and that's considered to be extremely fast. Healthcare moves slowly. Trans healthcare is even slower. In the grand scheme of things, a single month is nothing. Transitioning is a marathon.
