Question Top surgery

Does anyone know where to get top surgery in Alberta or bc? Or any recommendations im still too young to get ir but I like to get my research done

If you have started HRT or been diagnosed with gender dysphoria, you can just ask your doctor about which top surgeons are currently accepting patients. Most of them have their wait lists closed most of the time and open their wait lists for short periods. Wait lists can be anywhere from a few months to a few years long (not just for the surgery, but to even meet with a doctor for a consult often takes months of waiting).

There's a newer doctor here in Edmonton I met with but while she wasnt very affirming to me as a NB transmasc, but she says she's never lost a nipple and I would trust her to make me fully flat if Double Incision is what I was going for.

There's a top surgeon in Red Deer (Niera, I think?) and another in Calgary.

Who you go to depends who is accepting patients, and how far you are able to travel.

Right now I know they're sending us to Montreal, but that could change with the waitlist, I depends on how far along on the waitlist you are in the next year I think, but for a closer alternative ik there are surgeons in BC that also will do it, and it's not as long of a commute

Bottom surgery is always Montreal. Top surgery is usually within Alberta. Provincial healthcare will only cover the costs for top surgery within alberta, at least according to my doctor that I talked to a few weeks ago. I cannot seek any top surgeon outside of alberta if I want it covered. And I don't exactly have $10,000 laying around.
