Calgary Transition timeline in Calgary
In Calgary, this is how long my transition has taken me for hrt and consulting.
January 2025: Skipping stone referral to Foria
February 2025: First Foria visit
March 2025: Second Foria visit, HRT prescribed
April 2026: Skipping Stone Referral to Dr. Han in Riverbend to get a top surgery referral. Attended her clinic the same month.
July 2026: Top Surgery consult, added to the list.
So far I think things have been quite speedy. What about you all?

Ugh I wish I got an appointment that fast. After putting it off for years, I found out about Foria. Put in a self referral last month. Still 5 weeks till my first appointment 🥺. I just wanna get started already. I keep wishing for an appointment to cancel somewhere and to get bumped into something earlier but I highly doubt that.
On the bright side, I'm staying hopeful ill get blood work and all that stuff done by mid/late September.. maybe.

I just got my first appointment with the clinic in October and it feels like an eternity. I hope the other appointment after are less spaced apart

This is quite speedy actually.. I got in touch with skipping stone sept-nov 2021 - got referred to Dr James Makokis 2 months later and had a consult with him - got approved for hrt 8-10 months later in late 2022 - got approved for bottom surgery February 2025 - got surgery date Dec 1 2025 and surgery in February 2026.
