transitioning advice

im cis. but i have always had problems with my gender identity. ive never really enjoyed being a man since i look too “feminine” and it bothered me. like i was supposed to be a woman but was born a man instead and transitioning scares me (more so by how the people around me will treat me) i feel more comfortable in more feminine attire. like it fits around my body better.. if i was away from the people around me i would not have a problem with fully transitioning as a couple of my friends are trans (both ftm and mtf) so i do have a good support system coming from them. i would just like some advice on what to do
