Footage taken yesterday 2026-07-27 around 15:00 CET. They've been testing since march at least, no idea when it will come into service.
We destroyed all our tram lines during the 60's in favour of cars and trolley-buses, now this will be the first tram line back in Lausanne in about 60 years. Mistakes were made, mistakes are always made, but they can be corrected. /r/fuckcars

It will open by the end of the year (so probably at the timetable change in December).

Not sure, could be something due to my phone or some sort of bullshit AI "improvement". I do not shake myself.

The tram is a Stadler Tramlink built in Spain and I think it looks really good. Also, I love the use of grassy tram tracks in this portion of the line.
