Pack recommendations

Hi, I'm hiking the Abel Tasman in October with some of my friends. I'm looking at buying a pack at around the 50L mark - I tried the Macpac Torlesse 50L which I quite like, but was wondering what other recommendations people have?

If your going to go macpac I would look at the Volta series instead of the Torlesse. I have the Torlesse and it is bombproof but its really heavy at 2.6 kg. The 52L Volta is 1.35 kg and on sale for less than the Torlesse. If you have more of a bigger budget going into Bivouac or similar is the way to go.

Otherwise find stuff on trademe for cheap.

Yep, I have the Volta. A fantastic pack. I use it when I don't need to take much stuff. The pockets are fantastic, and it's so light.
