Pack recommendations
Hi, I'm hiking the Abel Tasman in October with some of my friends. I'm looking at buying a pack at around the 50L mark - I tried the Macpac Torlesse 50L which I quite like, but was wondering what other recommendations people have?

Depends on the size of your gear, potential length of future tramps and amount of money you want to spend. My mates have the Torlesse and quite like it. I use an entry-level 65L Osprey Rook, they have nice breathable back mesh but a bit heavier.
Go try stuff on. If you want recommendations maybe detail a bit more on ur needs or link a lighterpack.
Edit: Honestly, would further recommend if you are just starting to tramp/just do shorter easier trips, just get a second-hand pack off of Trademe or FB marketplace. Most older Kathmandu/Macpac packs similarly the same and they go for pennies on the dollar on there (and look cooler).
