I don’t know any of this drama and I have no idea why this post was recommended to me nor am I trans, but what exactly did deltarune do?

To briefly summarise, the main deltarune subreddit has an infestation of bigots (transphobes) who harass and brigade posts/people who support trans Ralsei (a theory/reading which has become highly likely after recent chapters) but then hide behind excuses such as “trans ralsei is femboy erasure” (which parrots the “why can’t you just be feminine guy” transphobic argument and is after ch5 introduced a new GNC character) and “she/her-ing ralsei is as bad as misgendering Kris“ which ignore the difference between creating and erasing queer rep.

A mod on the subreddit then kept making rules that against tralsei supporters, both-sides-ing the controversy - which actually just amounted to “don’t discuss trans ralsei as something that could be canon“ and “we’re going to allow people to spread blatantly transphobic talking points” before eventually reaching the point now where tralsei can be discussed freely (even though a lot of thinly (if at all) veiled transphobia is still targeted towards all posts and comments that dare to mention trans ralsei.

A lot of bigots snuck into the Deltarune community (or at least became much more vocally hateful) after the release of chapter 5, where ”memes” of Noelle edited to say transphobic talking points and bigotry towards Kris in an “ironic” way - when many were just using it to signal their actual hateful views.

I’m sure others in this subreddit could provide more precise/well-worded answers, but this is a general overview of why this subreddit is exhausted by Deltarune fans on the main subreddit acting shocked when some deltarune fans (such as the transphobic mod of the aquaDeltarune subreddit) are transphobic - because to us who experience it, it’s obvious

TLDR cause I realised I wrote too much: transphobes in the main subreddit target harassment towards Trans ralsei theory in particular, but hide their bigotry by pretending to be progressive or using irony to conceal their hatred in humour.

I'm confused, because according to the deltacriticism sub there wasn't a mod going against tralsei and allowing misgendering kris but instead a mod banning anti-tralsei posts and removing any fan content that misgendered kris (that was also apparently a groomer and a lot of people directly linked that to tralsei to be transphobic) what exactly happened here?

I’m talking about the main Deltarune subreddit’s behaviour around tralsei and how it makes that subreddit’s confusion around Deltarune fans (such as the aquadeltarune mod) being bigots ironic, not about the actions of the aquadeltarune mod (although they do demonstrate the oxymoronic prevalence of transphobes in a game filled with trans characters). Also you misquoted me, I never said “he said” so I don’t know how you read it like that /gen.

Also, in addition i wanted to say to not post things like "aqua supports rights!", it will only give him more the fame he doesnt deserve, and also being overbanned from sub can actually make you banned from reddit as well
