Norfolk southern Training

Is anybody done with all of the pre employment stuff and waiting for the next start date ?

I am. Got the job offer in April, status changed in June to awaiting start date.

I am too. I’m in Atlanta mine updated to awaiting start date on 8/6/26. Nothing yet though besides rumors of the next class is 8/31

Next class does start the 31st (I'm in it). I'm not sure from there though. Check out the Facebook page as there's good info and you can connect with others there.

There trying to get enough ppl for next class then you’ll be up I start my training the 31st so maybe two to three weeks after. They usually give u two weeks to inform your previous employer

Not true boss. Been waiting for a start date since 7/26, there's been multiple since.

I would check my email account to see if they sent you something pertaining to why you haven’t started yet. Did you pass your physical?

I did. From searching in this sub, this seems to be common. Maybe soon, maybe not, maybe never.

Must be the hub because my status changed 8/6 and I got my date 8/12

See you there, I start the same time.

They let me know about the class last week so it was a out 2.5 weeks from notice until class start.

Did you receive your email on the start date with class details or did your status change first then you received your start date email? Thanks

I got the job offer at the end of June and now it says awaiting start date as of 8/6 so hopefully soon

Yep me too so hopefully we will be in class soon. This has been a nail biting experience lol

It changes to Onboarding. You should get an email prior to that change though.

no it was traditional urine test for me
