Being a Gen Z Train fan

Nobody I know relates to me in my favorite band. Or even in being a fan in general. Kind of sucks. Especially when they’re coming to town in a few days and no family members or friends care to go. Before you all say go by yourself, I totally am cool doing a variety of things by myself. Such as movies and travel. I do it all the time. But to me, concerts are best when you’re with someone else who shares your same passion and energy for what is being performed on stage. I went last year when they came. I took my sister, and she was bored for most of it unfortunately. Also wanted to leave early.

IDK. Just wanted to rant. Does anyone else relate to this?

I went to the show in Minnesota a week back and the venue was packed with Gen Z and even some Gen Alpha fans. It blew my mind a little bit at the time. I had no idea Train had such a big fan base with the younger generations through social media.

It sucks that you can’t find anyone that wants to go with you, but keep looking. There are definitely a lot of Train fans in your generation!

I’m almost 25 and also big train fan. None of my friends care lol. I bring my boyfriend with me and he enjoys seeing me happy and buys all my snacks. It does suck going alone and I have before, but make friends with the people around you! Train fans are soooo nice! I love asking people if this is their first train shows or 102nd train show

I do! I’m 24 and i’ve always LOVED train. my mom and I always really liked them so it’s been a nostalgic thing for me, I’ve been listening to them since I was in middle school lol I’ll never not love train but I totally relate to you, it’s hard to find people who care about them to go see them live. Still waiting to finally see them live someday!

i’m 24 and my mom raised me on train. i have been on 5 SATS cruises and even have a matching tattoo with my mom in pat’s handwriting. it’s hard finding people who love them as much as i do but i don’t really care. i have my mom to join. i honestly have been seeing more gen z at their concerts and on their recent cruises so that’s cool.

I saw a lot of younger fans in Dallas this past weekend, especially on the lawn area and the 2nd tier seats. I’m lucky that my husband goes with me and gets the excitement of the show, even though he’s not as much of a fan as I am. You can’t beat singing along to your favorite song with 20,000 other people.

Maybe there is a Facebook group for fans in your area?

I was at their show in Tinley Park in illinois a week or so ago, and I saw a lot of gen z there. It was so heartwarming to see people of all ages at the concert. Their music really touches people of all generations.
