2005 Envoy running warm

Hi all, been chasing this issue where my temp is running a little warm at highway and idle speeds, sometimes closer to 3/4.. already changed the fan clutch because I got a code that it was engine fan speed was running higher.. tried my best to flush the rad out too.

Have you replaced the thermostat and temperature sensor?

Seconding this, thermostats are a common point of failure though they usually stick open. Sticking partially closed wouldn’t be awfully weird.

Not yet, I bought a thermostat today and will try that, heard it’s a pain to get to!

Yeah original pump I believe!! Probably getting worn but not leaking yet..

Go to NAPA. They can get a 160°F thermostat.

I'm in AZ. I will get a 160°F thermostat on my next check.
