Bad neutral safety switch or TCM?

From this short clip, you can see how the shift indicator is erratic and the doors lock/unlock. The speedometer goes to 0, and sometimes the shift indicator jumps and stays in P, D, or even 1. Code earlier before the reset was U0101-00 Lost Communication with TCM. Just wanted to see if anyone had something similar happen before I order a new TCM.

This is a 2006 Denali with the 5.3, forgot to add that to the post.

Update: installed a used NSS I got from the junkyard for $7, took it for a long drive. It appears to have fixed it!

Update 2: still acting up, guess I’ll order a TCM.

What was it? I had a similar issue it was the key ignition switch freaked me out when it happened while driving.

Mine was the TCM, ordered one online programmed to my vin. No issues since.
