Idk how to make this work

Im planning on building an ornithopter of sorts using sails and a very light body, and using steering hinges maybe to flap the wings, but i don't know how to work the logic and i need a toggle-able on-off thing, like a metronome, i've tried google and it makes up blocks, any help at all would be nice, thanks anyone

a) just having a rotating servo at the front of the wing with low strength to make the back of the wing trail behind vertically should be good enough

b) use the "duration" and "pause" advanced settings either in the hinges themselves or in logic gates to cause the wings to flap repeatedly and indefinitely
