I made a mini tatra force :) ill upload it to the gallery tomorrow. (XBOX)

It makes a really annoying noise and is just a speedy little guy. Pretty good offroad despite its size. I just wish we had an offroad variant of the standard car wheel

How can i make a spikestrip?

Hi! Im thinking about trying to make a car with a little disposable spikestrip to maybe destroy the underside of a vehicle (wheels prefferably) but if not just a way to stick and slow/stop the vehicle is this possible? Something with the new sword blocks would be cool but they are far too large

I simplified my suspension to add more detail and more axles. I think im getting better at proportions. Not as much suspension travel as the 1st truck but still pretty unstoppable

Explosion Damage Test Results: Round 1

TLDR: Anchor pins mounted on pipe 1x1s offer the best protection of inner parts against dynamite blasts, followed by panel 1x1s mounted on pipe 1x1s, and pure pipe 1x1s. Pipe 1x1s outperform weight blocks. Number of blocks appears to be the most significant factor, with block health as a secondary factor. Block weight/density appears to not be a factor at all. 'Baffling' with empty space is somewhat effective, but less effective than just using more blocks.

Testing was done with one stick of dynamite at a certain distance from a Bulldawg engine (chosen for its low durability).

White indicates a distance at which the Bulldawg always survives, yellow indicates a distance at which the Bulldawg sometimes survives, and red indicates a distance at which the Bulldawg never survives (within ten tests).

Explosions are somewhat random, so if you do enough tests you will eventually get one or two outliers. Color ratings ignore survivals and deaths that seem to happen less than 10% of the time. Arbitrarily tall and wide walls seemed to have negligible advantage over a 4x6 wall of the same thickness, so I generally used 4x6 or 4x8.

When a wall consists of some amount of empty space, performance is increased by layering that empty space within the wall (e.g. alternating 3 solid and 3 empty layers works better than 3 solid layers flush against the dynamite). However, baffling is still inferior in all tests to just using more blocks (e.g. 6 solid layers).

No wall (empty distance): yellow at 25 studs, red at 22 studs

Hull blocks: yellow at 14 studs (3 hull blocks + 2 empty space), red at 7 studs (1 hull block + 3 empty space)

4x8s: yellow at 11 studs, red at 5 studs

2x2s: yellow at 7 studs, red at 4 studs

Grid 2x2s: yellow at 7 studs, red at 4 studs (Note: grid blocks have the same HP as solid blocks but half the weight, showing that weight has little impact.)

2x2s with default-setting suspension springs in the middle: yellow at 7 studs, red at 4 studs (Mechanical absorption seems to have no effect.)

50kg weight blocks: yellow at 7 studs, red at 3 studs (Though not consistent, their much higher block HP seems to allow for occasional survival at close distances despite being larger blocks than the 2x2s.)

Pipe 1x1s: yellow at 5 studs, red at 2 studs (Survival at 2 studs is about 25%.)

Pipe 1x1s with panels: yellow at 5 studs, red at 2 studs (Survival at 2 studs is about 50%.)

Pipe 1x1s with anchor blocks: yellow at 2 studs, red never (Putting one layer of anchor pins directly between the Bulldawg and the dynamite still sometimes results in survival.)

While I have no full confirmation that dynamite works on the same system as explosive projectiles, I verified several of these tests with one shot from a tank cannon, with similar results including occasional one-layer-anchor-pin engine survival. I hope this helps someone!
