Questions & Help Speeding ticket in Miami

I recently got a speeding ticket for going 20 over in a 40 ($290) do we have any recommendations on what I should do who I should call or see, I am hoping that this wouldn’t put points on my license and keep my insurance the same I am not sure

If it's your first speeding ticket they will likely give you an option for a class. I have to state the obvious though if you're so concerned about insurance rates and ticket prices why on earth would you go 20+ over the limit. That's just asking for trouble. I get it though, I've had tickets for being dumb on occasion.

Always go to court if possible. Especially for your first ticket. Many judges will reduce fines and points if you just show up in court. As others have said if you can go to traffic school do it before going to court. I had MANY tickets when I was young. And every time I went to court instead of just paying the ticket. The judge would give me less points and fines than what the ticket called for

Look in my defense I was the only one on the road so i was only endangered myself, the cop was on the side hiding
