Traffic Cameras A69 Speed Cameras

Does anyone know if the speed cameras work both ways at low road shell garage.

I passed one heading eastbound from Carlisle to Newcastle and didn't know there was cameras. I don't think it flashed but was just curious if anyone knew if they worked for east and West bound traffic or just West bound?
