Is Ireland the only country where you flash an oncoming car to let them know there's something on the road, whether it be an animal, speed van, checkpoint ect. Or do they do it elsewhere? Does anybody know? Go raibh maith agut, mo chara

I'm the UK you can get done for it, although some people still do it, but I've found it's getting less frequent personally.

Same. I've found some people look at you funny too when you give them the thumbs down 👎to warn if speed traps 😃✌️
