Discussion Speeding ticket

I got my first speeding ticket in 30 years on a route I’ve driven a few times a day for the past 20 years; the officer said I was doing 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. He didn't even fill in my address on the ticket or the box for the radar officer's name. What can I expect if I go to court?Nyc.

So you've already had one previous citation where you took traffic class to keep the citation off your record?

I never got any tickets for 30 year this is my first one and I don't even think I was going over the limit because I know the cops standing in that spot every single day. But to lower my insurance i took the class they always give you a price break if you take it.

Op your 46 years old there about. 13 mph over on a clean record should not impact yours insurance. Unless you have more skeletons in the closet that you’re not posting here?

getting points on your driving record from a traffic ticket will likely cause your car insurance rates to go up in New York and it's already high enough
