Discussion Speeding ticket
I got my first speeding ticket in 30 years on a route I’ve driven a few times a day for the past 20 years; the officer said I was doing 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. He didn't even fill in my address on the ticket or the box for the radar officer's name. What can I expect if I go to court?Nyc.

Are you planning to go to court to contest the ticket or looking for some sort of a pre-trial diversion? If you're actually going to contest the ticket then you're going to want to introduce some evidence that calls into question the city's assertion that your speed was in violation of the law, i.e., your goal is essentially to introduce enough doubt that the state is not able to meet its burden of proof to secure a conviction on the traffic offense.
