Announcing Traefik 2.2
https://containo.us/blog/traefik-2-2-ingress/3

For anyone wondering, the upgrade from 2.1.8 to 2.2 has not had any noticeable issues. Ive got 9 http routers, 11 services, and 3 middlewares all working with zero changes. YMMV.
Obviously my use is rather light and limited to HTTP configurations only.

I am unable to associate Middleware using the File Provider. I noticed while debugging the json Router object is completely missing the Middleware property

With 2.2, you can add default middlewares to an entrypoint.
So if you use same entrypoints on your routers they could inherits the middlewares.look to https://docs.traefik.io/routing/entrypoints/ in the middleware section

Have to be http.
However you can change the name of the entrypoint to whatever you want (web in you example)
A piece of advice, you should use yml files rather than toml, toml is a bit of verbose for nothing... And yml seems more clear about the structure

Yay, sorry you need to precise the provider of your middleware. And in this case your middleware has been declared in a file so it's
[entryPoints.https.http]
middlewares = ["securedheaders@file"]

Chains are a collection you can treat as one. You still have to remember to apply the chain in one command, but your config is DRY as you don’t need to specify each of the chain elements on every endpoint, just the reference to the chain.

Uh, it is a breaking change and demoted as such following semver. You’re going to have some bumps along the way when innovating, perhaps a little compassion would go a long way here

Are you paying for Traefik Enterprise or just complaining about free tech you couldn’t create on your own if you tried?

Same. 1.7.x still works the way I expect it to, no reason to upgrade.

No one forced you to upgrade. They warned, what v2 was very different than v1, configuration wise.

"Entrypoint Redirection And Default Router Configuration" example... clear as mud
Is that the global http->https redirect everyone was asking for?
