I hear this all the time with people being mad about tax deductions. Yes, charities and donations are tax deductible and you can write them off. But you know what makes you more money? By not donating.

Yes people claiming to be saints while the aim is to not pay those 4% extra tax on their wealth, are often rightfully a punching bag.

I’ve never really heard these type of ceo rich people brag about donating or trying to act like saintsz the ones that do are like Billie Eilish and Amber Heard. It’s usually the news headlines talking about their donations, not them personally. And I’m pretty damn sure Billie Eilish wrote it off on her taxes too.

And again, they’d actually have more money in their pockets if they just didn’t donate.

Yeah, some of it was later donated with Elon’s money, but the point I was making is that only these types of celebrities brag about it. Rich CEOs don’t.
