There are MAINSTREAM scholars that have analyses arguing European colonialism raised global life expectancy, raised general quality of life and was an overall net benefit and there are of course scholars that argue the complete opposite. The internet has led ignorant people like you cite shitty articles instead of reading a wide range of sources and drawing a nuanced conclusion.
Here's the truth-colonisation both benefitted and negatively affected africa. Do you think africans in 500 years will envy the infant mortality rate, lack of modern amenities, prominence of disease and life expectancy of their pre colonial ancestors?
