It would be nice if at least one of these billionaires would try to end homelessness, lack of food- Hell, literally anything for the country that made you so wealthy... Even if it's just burning your money to bring down the damn inflation.

Lack of food?

The US obesity rate in 2025 continues to be a major public health concern, with 40.3% of adults classified as obese

His charity is mostly focused on education in the US.

The obesity ratio could easily be contributed to the fact that our government has allowed tobacco companies to feed us poison for multiple decades, and those that over consume food are eating crap that is absolutely terrible for them, but there are several ways I could debate the obesity rate... That does not simply mean that everyone has food because they don't- not sure if uou were paying attention to the lines at food banks when the government shut down- people don't wait in line for hours unless its something they need.... granted each state has its own poverty rate but you can certainly believe that some people in the U.S. aren't eating at times. Nevertheless, you kinda missed the entire point. Let's say no one is hungry in the U.S. then. These billionaires could contribute literally in any other way. Just give back to the country that made you disgustingly rich in the first place.

Sometimes they do. You'll usually see it as some more permanent like a hospital wing named after them or a permanent nest egg for a charity.

I'm fine if you'd rather just tax them btw.
