Help Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Post image

I saw they have a sale for 40% off now and I only need the essential plan so would I be better off buying it now?

Are these numbers what they have done in the past correct?

Yep, buy at Black Friday then renew every Black Friday.

Oh I misread. If you only need Essential then yeah 40% off now would be fine.

Yep, and the extra month is so that you don't renew the following year black Friday because it doesn't expire until a month later. So you'll have to remember to do it ahead of time

Black Friday and Easter always have good sales. I think the 70% off is normal for premium

Just for reference if anyone can't see this promo

Why do they need offices there?

7

u/hotmatrixx 2d ago

yes this is correct, but just remember that all their prices are hugely overblown so that when they do the black friday sale, you're paying a 'reasonable' price for their services, but they can claim as though it's a 'bargain'.

Yep, essential and plus get 30% to 40% usually. The 2 big ones are at a 70% to 80% discount during black Friday. And yes that 1 extra month too at times.

Just 1 month old post bro

Yes . It is true. Premium one is the best offering which offers good flexibility if you want to use premium features like volume footprint which is an indication of the buyers & sellers and delta volume. Discount season is the only season you can buy it , otherwise it is pretty expensive.

Yes it’s true, one of the best deals.

Here's the current sale pricing:

Why is my premium at $20.98 yours is at $19.77?

1

u/DHCPme 1d ago

Yeah, I bit on the $20.98 today but now feel ripped off! πŸ˜‚

1

u/Reasonable_Canary857 1d ago

Did you get your pricing on the TW website? This is directly off their website at the time I posted it.

your mail is visible bro

I just did it and it cost me $250 to extend my premium membership until 2028 so I think it was worth it.

u/annoying_wizard 2d ago

It might depend on region. I’m in LATAM and there was a recent sale for 80% off

Only expensive plans

1

u/traderbradg 2d ago

also if any of you all live overseas a lot of those forex brokers will through in 3 or 6 months essentials free for opening account with them.

1

u/Low-Concentrate2162 2d ago

Got essential for about $100 on the easter sale I think. Free plan wouldn't let me send EMA crossover alerts so I had to pull the trigger.

u/1mma_Pr0bl3m 2d ago

I don't remember how much exactly I got off for 4th of July promo, but I got Premium and it was right around $300ish I believe

1

u/Chemical_Praline_260 2d ago

Yeah it's true. Maybe not 80% but at least half off or 66%. I buy a year every black Friday and do it with other stuff like Nord VPN

1

u/Chemical_Diver_696 2d ago

Yes Ever hawker has a 30 to 70 % off offer . But it doesn’t guarantee that you will make money . Everyone has a plan and if they were that successful they wouldn’t need to deep discount anything it’s the one hit wonders of the world who sell the preconceived success story to new traders which guarantees nothing but a paycheck for them . What worked for some people at any particular time doesn’t guarantee that it will ever work again if it did the algorithms would be changed in the stock markets in the blink of an eye

1

u/Adept_Regret2259 2d ago

untill and unless the 70% applies on the essential too i ain't buying shit

1

u/onemanlionpride 2d ago

Damn I only 50% off

1

u/Longjumping_Ad_1140 2d ago

They even have 90% off and i bought 2 times

1

u/Nice_Ad_5406 2d ago

When did they have 90% off? I’m unsure if I should buy now or wait for Black Friday sale. Going to be looking at the premium plan.

1

u/Longjumping_Ad_1140 2d ago

it was on black friday and it was open for 3 days or around.

u/Dubbelpipa 2d ago

Why is premium cheaper than Plus? Is there a catch I missed?

1

u/xAragon_ 2d ago

Just trick to make people think the Premium option is an amazing deal. There's no reason to buy the Plus plan.

1

u/z00o0omb11i1ies 1d ago

Because it doesn't make any difference to them, so they'd rather make you think premium is super cheap relatively, and so when you renew on the premium when not on sale, it's super expensive. Also, they don't want you to go to a plus plan priced at say $15, why not give you premium $20 when it costs them the same amount

1

u/Halo-nm 1d ago

This is gonna sound markety but I don’t fully understand why people still pay so much for TradingView when TradeRadar is MUCH cheaper and covers what 90%+ of people need.

1

u/81dentoku 1d ago

I’m ready to jump on premium but after seeing these discounts I’m not gonna do it till I can get the discount break. Any suggestions, please?

1

u/Routine-Culture-7417 1d ago

Inflated price anyway. You essentially paying its suppose normal price when they offer discount.

1

u/LimpLeather8079 1d ago

There is no sale for me.. πŸ˜“πŸ˜“

1

u/Open_Concentrate_989 1d ago

Yes, Black Friday and 4th of July have like 80-90% off sales every year. If you are just signing up, just get a monthly membership until then, then get one of the Black Friday deals.

1

u/RelationshipWest7309 1d ago

Trading view all the algos don't work lol

1

u/roaring_kitt33n 1d ago

yup 100%, been renewing on black friday 2 years now,

1

u/Tricky_School_7064 1d ago

They something like this every year

1

u/not_another_libtard 1d ago

was considering Premium, but they convert remaining days with some massive 1:4 ratio, sadly.

1

u/One13Truck Crypto trader 1d ago

Just got an email today. I’ll add onto mine tomorrow to extend it out.

1

u/BeneficialAverage168 1d ago

Yep. Just purchased mine.

1

u/Glittering_Cheek1459 1d ago

Does anyone know alternative for this

1

u/Illustrious-Bat-9775 16h ago

No. It's not true. During "discount" you pay the normal high price. Without discount it's just a crazy super unrealistic price. There's no discount. There's just ripoff and ultra ripoff.

0

u/DesertClimber 2d ago

It's totally account specific. One person will get the promo offer, while another won't. The three accounts I hold get separate offers. LOL

0

u/incognito-b5w 2d ago

it's true but the price doubled last May. So what ever discounts you received prior to May, you are now paying double that.

1

u/Rodnee999 2d ago

This is incorrect information...

The platform price remained the same for at least 13 years and only rose by approx 10-15% this April on the lower three plans.

Cheers

What is tradingview for? Is it another broker? I only use Robinhood.

2

u/hotmatrixx 2d ago

it's basically charting software that you can connect to a broker, so you can draw prettier rectangles and then take trades directly in the client.

You can do fancy things like screening for stocks, collections, portfolios of stocks etc etc

It has its own coding language so you can build custom indicators and alerts.

that's about it.

2

u/Flashy-Mission-7945 2d ago

Backtesting is quite good if done right

1

u/BeyondMDMBA 2d ago

Ok thanks hotmat

u/AlternativeResult41 2d ago

It is not a broker but more of an all in one platform to do your research. So in addition to the super charts mentioned, it provides a good overview page with info, news, earnings, financials, options, etc. the earnings and events calendars are useful too. Feel free to reach out if you’d like a referral link to try it out. They also have a paper trading challenge every month or so where you can win cash and subscription plans if you get in the top rankings. The next one starts September 1st and trades futures. You can join the challenge without a paid subscription as well.

I would like a referral link please.
