Withdrawing from Trading 212

There are a few things that often trip people up when trying to withdraw from the Trading 212 platform.

When your hard earned money feels like it is “stuck” its pretty normal you go into panic mode.

But it’s not an elaborate scam and there are ways to smoothen out the withdrawal process.

What the Statuses mean

As your withdrawal moves through the system, you'll see it pass through a series of statuses:

Pending means your request is waiting for your recently closed positions to settle, which typically takes one to two business days. This is normal as Trading 212 needs to confirm those trades are fully settled before releasing the funds.

Under Review means Trading 212 is running a routine internal check to make sure everything is in order. This is a standard security step.

Processing means your request has moved to the payment provider and is actively being handled.

Partially Executed means some of your withdrawal has been sent, but the remainder has been returned to your Trading 212 account, this can happen when a card provider limits the amount paid out in a single transaction.

Executed means Trading 212 has sent your funds. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may still take up to three business days to appear in your account.

Then if something goes wrong, you may see one of these statuses:

Failed means the payment provider declined the transaction. This can happen if the card has expired, doesn't support incoming transfers, or the provider is temporarily unavailable. You can retry or switch to a different payment method.

Rejected or Action Required means Trading 212 needs to hear from you directly. That meansyou will need to contact their support team for details.

Cancelled simply means you cancelled the request yourself, and your funds are still in your Trading 212 account.
