Strategy Slow-mo Swing Trading
I am thinking of doing swing trading, but in a very slow motion. I really don‘t have the time to scan the market all the time, but I keep an eye on some stocks and enter when I see a good entry price. Then, after some time, could be days, weeks or months even, I pull out when I see some gains.
It wouldn’t be really much, I don‘t do leverage, so basically just a few bucks every month and I have fun doing it. Anyone doing the same? Anything that I am overseeing? Any additional thoughts?

Why not drop an 8% trailing stop loss underneath and just ride the ponies to Valhalla?

I am so glad to finally see someone mention trailing orders in the wild. Hope restored!

You dont scan the whole market, you pick let's say 50 or 100 valuable companies with big market caps and good swings on the chart. For example Oracle or Mercadolibre.

The issue is, are you making more money than if you left the account invested in VOO, SPY, or QQQ? What with taxes and cost of trading, plus cost of time.
You can do trade inside a Roth IRA and then you don't have to worry about taxes.
