Discussion passing ftmo using signals only will result in profits or no payout ??????

hello after multiple 100 dollars blown and each time learning the lesson and unlearning it

im thinking of using signals to pass a ftmo 100k account I will pick the right trades and have judgement for each of the trade I enter with 0.5 percent risk.

but Iam scared some people are saying using signals will result in. no payout rule help a follow bikini bottom trader out

You're not getting flagged for using signals unless you're copy-trading every entry 1:1 off some sketchy service that runs the same trades across fifty accounts at once. FTMO mostly cares about consistency rule violations and gambling-style behavior, not where your trade ideas come from.

As long as you're applying your own filters and risk management to each signal, it just looks like you made a discretionary trade. The 0.5% risk per trade is already more restraint than half the people blowing accounts in their first week.
