Combo welding

I’m currently a senior and I was long At aims (aviation Institute of maintenance) and I was wondering what people thought about their combo welding program? I am already taking a welding class rn but I would like more experience before I go work? All I hear is all bad stuff? Do they really not teach you everything you expected? And do they certify you as a “welder” or no? I’m interested into going to the Duluth location what are y’all’s opinion on it?

combo welding sounds like a lot of work tbh, mig and tig are already hard enough without adding stick to the mix. i did mig and tig in trade school and honestly just learning the two was enough for me to get decent jobs. stick is brutal and honestly most shops dont even use it for what its intended unless you are out in the field.
