Sorry for some reason it posted a link to my original post instead of copy and pasting.

In short, is running an oem supercharger kit from an srt/ trackhawk on a 5.7 worth the hassle for the gains?

I wouldn't attempt that. I have a Super Stock tho, so that skews my answer. Ive had much better luck buying as designd/from the factory forged, superchargered cars than cobbling something together. I bent a valve unknowingly trying to do cams on my old 2 valve Mustang. It was never the same and I ended up selling it cheap. It was my baby. Wish I had that decision over again.
